1. Quick preview

Hi, I’m Dylan.
I make brands worth watching.

I ran @wishtrend.id day to day for three years, doing the grid planning, feed design, captions, scheduling and reels production. 400+ posts at 3–4 per week, plus a YouTube video I co-created that pulled 350K organic views and brought exposure to the brand.

The other half of the job was influencers. I sourced and negotiated with creators across Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines on paid, barter and seeding deals. They were part of the campaign plan, there to build the brand’s popularity with users.

I also helped handle the spreadsheet system behind all of it. Everything was managed and linked across campaigns, and I kept the error rate to a minimum.

Social Media & Marketing Operations

Mar 2023 – Feb 2026
  • Owned @wishtrend.id day to day for 3 years. 400+ posts at 3–4 per week: grid planning, feed design in Canva to brand guidelines, caption writing, scheduling, and reels production in CapCut (concept, edit, on-screen graphics, captions). Top reels hit 63K+ and 44K+ views.
  • Applied search-driven optimization to reels and feed content: keyword-led captions, on-screen text and hashtag sets built around what Indonesian audiences were actually searching, so posts surfaced through Instagram Search and Explore.
  • Built and kept relationships with influencers and KOLs across Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines: sourcing, first contact, negotiating terms and collaboration type (paid, barter, seeding), and keeping creators engaged for repeat work.
  • Concepted, shot and thumbnailed a channel-growth YouTube video that reached 350K organic views, built on a soft-sell strategy. Earn the Indonesian audience first, promote product second.
  • Wrote scripts for influencer skincare campaigns (By Wishtrend, I’m From, Dear Klairs), translating ingredient chemistry into plain language. Campaigns held 350–400K impressions, averaging 20,000 views per video.
  • Localized global Korean brand video for the Indonesian market: subtitling and line-level re-timing, thumbnail design, and long-form to short-form cutdowns for Reels and TikTok.
  • Managed 3,000+ influencer and lead records covering outreach status, voucher and order logistics, posting timelines and campaign performance. All linked by Order ID across sheets, with validation rules catching errors at entry.

A channel-growth video concept I co-developed, from building the plan through production and managing the post-production posting. The idea was to soft-sell the brand with no product in the video at all, earning the Indonesian audience first and bringing exposure to the brand content, and especially the products, that came after.

Soft-sell reels that
earn the scroll

I co-developed the idea, produced it, and edited the reels in CapCut, including the on-screen graphics and the captions. The two highlighted below were the ones that became popular, while the others also gained consistent views that ran into the thousands.

Reel 01 Viral trend Funny

63.4K views

This first video follows the “we’re Indonesian in Korea” trend that was viral at the time, which succeeded in gaining a significant audience by following what that audience was already watching. The main goal here was the same as always, which is to boost and grow our brand popularity.

The concept behind this video was to introduce viral Korean food to an Indonesian audience, which loves Korean culture quite a lot. This video also succeeded because it reached the correct audience, and because it helped a brand that is itself Korean-based.

5. The slate

And more reels…

Concept 01

Parody focused video

The idea was that everyone who follows a skincare brand also has a job they complain about. These are POV office sketches without any product in them, which were made to let the audience relate while also bringing a parody effect. The concept of the video also suited what was trending at the moment. The main goal here was brand exposure through our parody videos.

Concept 02

Same joke, product in the shot

Here I started incorporating our products while still keeping the funny side. The goal was that once the original parody had reached more views, we could start introducing product exposure to that audience through soft selling, so the videos could still break into the FYP and the audience would enjoy them while also seeing the product in them.

6. Instagram

The feed I handled
for three years

On the @wishtrend.id account I planned, designed and scheduled the feed using Canva, Illustrator and Photoshop, with as much creativity as I could bring to make it appealing to the audience while still following the brand guidelines. I also handled the copywriting, which was search-driven and built on a hashtag strategy that started from what Indonesian audiences like.

7. Campaigns & creators

Scripts I wrote,
creators I ran

These are the parts of my job that involved KOLs. On the writing side, I wrote the influencer video scripts for creators collaborating with our three skincare brands, where my main focus was to turn heavy ingredient information into something our audience could understand easily. On the other side, I spent most of my time sourcing and managing creators across five markets for our campaigns.

Across the scripted campaigns

350–400K impressions held per campaign,
averaging 20K+ views per video.

Scripted brand campaigns

By WishtrendScript · influencer video
16:9Scripted video

Our products usually carry unique or well known skincare ingredients, so getting the audience to understand them without complex speech was important. I wrote the scripts so that the influencer could bring them to life easily, in words they would actually say out loud.

I’m FromScript · influencer video

I used a softer selling strategy in these, where the script leads with the benefits of the ingredients that sit inside the product, instead of promoting the product directly. The product still arrives, only later and with a reason behind it.

These scripts are built around topics like acne prevention, night routines and skincare habits, with the product brought in slowly along the way. The goal was to educate our audience about the skincare world while still promoting what we sell.

Creators I sourced and managed

Here I focused on sourcing micro and nano KOLs, handling the first contact and negotiating the terms and the collaboration type. I also handled the shipping and the Order ID tracking, followed up on the posts, and finally reviewed the video results into a report. The goal was to make sure our KOL collaborations were effective.

8. Data & operations

The system behind
the campaigns

Here I have laid out more detailed information on how I managed those KOL campaigns. For three years I helped run the influencer and lead database behind every APAC campaign, where I sourced up to 3,000 creator entries, which is why the database also holds 3,000+ records. All of it is maintained and linked throughout our sheets.

3,000+records

Screenshots below are the sample-data versions from my portfolio deck. Real structure, scrubbed values, to keep my previous employer’s data confidential.

What’s actually in there

  • Advanced filtering, sorting and filter views so several people analyse the same sheet without stepping on each other.
  • Multi-sheet linking and live consolidation across workbooks. Edit once, update everywhere.
  • Data validation and error checking: duplicates and invalid entries flag red at the moment of entry.
  • Conditional formatting for status tracking, priority tagging and anomaly detection.
  • VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP / INDEX-MATCH cross-referencing datasets by Order ID.
  • Pivot tables and pivot charts summarising trends for the marketing team.
  • Nested IF logic for automated status outputs, plus dashboards for real-time KPI tracking.

Key results

  • Influencer database maintained across 5 APAC countries.
  • Structured, accurate data held for 3 years straight.
  • Multi-sheet tracking: contacts, campaigns, vouchers, reviews, product links.
  • Sourced from TikTok and Instagram up to 3,000 entries, classified nano through mega.
